FAQs:

How much will it cost?:

Cost is based on the Musician’s Union rates for computerised copying and composition and is dependent on the time and resources required to fulfil the brief. Music works’ extensive experience enables a very accurate estimate to be given.

See the Rates page.

What about proof-reading?:

This is done by Music works as well as the client. Scores tend to go back and forwards between the two a number of times until a finished article is produced. If distance is a problem, i.e. with clients outside the UK, they can be faxed or e-mailed. The entire transaction with Jacques Bailhé was done via e-mail.

How long does it take to finish a contract?:

This is dependent on the size of the work to be undertaken, but see my philosophy - on time, within budget and to specification.
